If so, taking a language class is a great place to begin. We currently offer basic language classes in Spanish, Chinese, and French (every other year). If you have more advanced Spanish language skills or are a heritage or native speaker, we offer Latin American Literature and Spanish Conversation courses on a rotation basis.
Our faculty specializes in language, culture, and literary studies. In addition to our regular faculty, we have exchange faculty from China, Costa Rica, and Spain that have taught in our program. Through our partnership with the WCCCSA, students can participate in study abroad programs in Costa Rica, Spain, and Italy. Our campus offers a selection of cultural programs and events, including lectures, concerts, plays, readings, and films that reflect cultural and linguistic diversity. Our language classes often organize fieldtrips to attend performances, art exhibits, and cultural events in the Seattle/Tacoma area.
