Discover the connection between coursework and the real world, and the resources in place to keep our community healthy and safe, as Peninsula College Campus Safety hosts a Health and Safety Fair for PC students and the community Tuesday, April 3, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm in the Pirate Union Building (PUB) on the Peninsula College campus.
A Nursing Fair will be combined with the Health & Safety Fair, and nursing students will be presenting health information and offering blood pressure screenings.
The event aims to make students and community members aware of personal health and safety issues, as well as the community resources available to address them. Additionally, the agencies that will be represented at the fair relate to programs offered at Peninsula College including, nursing, medical assisting, criminal justice, homeland security/emergency management and PC’s EMT course.
Participating agencies include: Clallam County Sheriff’s Office, PA Police Department, Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), Clallam Mosaic, Clallam County Search and Rescue, PA Fire Department and Volunteers in Medicine in the Olympics (VIMO).
This event is free and open to the public.
