Music at Peninsula College

It's never too early or too late to study music.

Even better, if jazz is your passion you’ve come to the right place.

Our outstanding professors will help you develop your own talents and musical stylings as you study and practice with other college students and community members.

You’ll also have lots of opportunities to perform. Our Jazz Ensemble and Jazz Vocal groups present several concerts each year, and play to a dedicated and enthusiastic fan base that can’t wait for their next performances. No wonder the groups are becoming the musical toast of the Olympic Peninsula!

Recent guest artists who have given clinics for the PC Jazz Ensemble and Port Angeles community include: Ted Brancato (NY), Dmitri Matheny (SF), and Rob Tapper (Univ. of Montana).

In addition, the Music department offers an appreciation course in general music and in the history of rock music. Students can also receive individual instruction in piano and guitar.
