Peninsula College Youth Sports Camps

Come experience “the Pirate Way” in our fun-filled, skill-based youth sports camps. Peninsula College Youth Sports Camps are run by our extremely successful sports teams and led by the college coaches and their staff of current and past college players. While designed around sport-specific skills and drills, we also understand that camp is a time to have fun and make new friends. We look forward to working with your future Pirate and teaching them how to be a champion both on and off the court.

Girls HS Winter Academy  - November through March
Development Academy created to support our local HS programs. College coaches work closely with HS coaches to understand their specific needs and help to train the players who wish to play the game at a higher level.
Grades 10-12 are enrolled in the North Puget Sound, Winter League. This allows for them to practice applying the game skills and tactics they work on in the middle of the week.
Grades 8-9 are mixed into the weekly training sessions with the older girls so that they can experience the game at a more physical and faster pace. In this role, they are encouraged to make mistakes and try new skills without the pressure of game performance or playing time.

  • Grades 8-12 (Girls only)
  • Sessions:  Mon, Wed, and Friday
  • Hours between 5:30-7:30 pm

For current information please talk to your HS coach or email Jake Hughes at jahughes@pencol.edu

High School Team Soccer Camps

High School Team Training Camps are also offered every Spring for boys and Summer for girls. Please contact your HS soccer coach or email Kanyon Anderson at kanderson@pencol.edu for current information.

BASKETBALL

The Peninsula College Pirates basketball program, in partnership with Port Angeles Boys Basketball, will be putting the “fun” back in fundamentals with our series of youth basketball camps. Our basketball camps are run by our college coaches and players in a fun, safe environment where kids will learn good habits on and off the court. The focus of the fundamentals will be on ball handling, passing, shooting, and defense.

Contact Alison Crumb for more information at acrumb@pencol.edu or 360-417-5697.
