Good morning, everyone:
On Sunday Governor Inslee announced new statewide restrictions intended to flatten the current serious uptick in COVID infections across the state. These new restrictions take effect this coming week, many as early as today, and will be in effect until at least December 14th. I’ve included the link to the Governor’s Press Updates page, which outlines the particulars of the new restrictions:

K-12, Higher Education, and childcare facilities are not affected directly by the new restrictions; however, we should all take steps today to redouble our efforts to contain the spread of the virus. Wearing a mask, maintaining appropriate distance, and frequent hand washing are proven methods of keeping yourself and others safe. In addition, as we noted Friday, we should all be reconsidering our holiday planning. Travel, especially to engage in indoor gatherings with persons outside our immediate households, is considered a high risk behavior. I urge you to think carefully about your upcoming plans, and to consider the health and safety of yourself and your loved ones as you make those plans. As always, I applaud your ongoing resilience and dedication to each other as we navigate this ongoing health crisis.
Sincerely,
Luke Robins
