Peninsula College will host a series of Running Start Information Nights in Port Angeles, Port Townsend, Forks and via Zoom during February, March, and April this year.
The events are designed to provide prospective Running Start students and their parents with an opportunity to learn more about the program and how high school juniors and seniors can earn college credit, tuition-free. They will also learn about strategies for success and what parents and families can do to be supportive.
Students and parents who wish to attend a Running Start Information Night on the main campus in Port Angeles may do so on Thursday, March 2 and Thursday, April 13. The information sessions and panel discussions will be held in PC’s Little Theater, J Building, at 7:00 pm. An optional campus tour will be offered beforehand at 6:30 pm.
The Running Start Information Night in Port Townsend is scheduled for Wednesday, March 22, at the PC Port Townsend campus at Fort Worden, 202 Eisenhower Avenue, beginning at 5:30 pm.
The Forks session will be held on Wednesday, March 22, at Peninsula College Forks, 481 South Forks Avenue, in The Commons, beginning at 5:30 pm.
Online Zoom sessions are also available Wednesday, February 15 at 6:00 pm, and Wednesday March 22 at 5:30 pm.
