Where is my Financial Aid Award Letter?
You submitted your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for 2020-2021, and you haven’t heard a thing from the Peninsula College Financial Aid Office.
You might be nervous! You might be panicking! It’s understandable!
We’re rolling out a wonderful new software system that will make life easier for you in the long run, but it has delayed our processing a bit. The end result will include improved, efficient processing, and better communication for all of our students.
Here’s what you can look forward to with our new student-focused software:
- Faster processing times for your financial aid applications
- Increased efficiencies with enrollment services, business office functions, advising, and much more
- Better access to financial aid information
Making sure you have the required forms and award information delivered to you in as short a turnaround time as possible is our number one goal. Things will be a bit different this year as we strive to improve our services. We estimate the award letter notifications will reach eligible students around end of June 2020.
For the majority of financial aid programs (including the new Washington College Grant) this slight delay will not affect your funding eligibility or award amounts.
