Summary of Duties
- Perform a variety of clerical tasks such as making copies, creating forms, flyers and posters using Microsoft Word, Publisher, etc.
- Help maintain record keeping/filing systems and compile data
- Assist other office staff with Outlook calendar appointments and phone calls/emails/texts to students (reminder calls, follow up calls, etc.)
- Provide assistance with Student Development events (set up, clean up, greet guests, etc.)
- Post flyers and put up sandwich board signs on campus
- Type forms and labels, stuff envelopes, etc.
- Assist students with on-line registration and other Web transactions
Minimum Qualifications / Required Skills:
- Strong personal and written communication skills
- Excellent attendance
- Responsible, self-directed, and respectful of confidentiality issues
Preferred Skills:
- Prefer keyboarding skills of at least 35 wpm
- Prefer experience with word processing and spreadsheet software

8. Technology: Student worker will develop proficiency in common technology tools, including phone, email, online searches, Zoom or other online meeting platforms, Microsoft Office applications, and specific technology used in the student worker's job duties.
9. Upward Management Skills: Student worker will demonstrate competency on how to communicate needs, concerns, and requests to immediate supervisor and other managers.
10. Workplace Simulation Mastery: Student worker will learn how to receive and learn from feedback, importance of regular input to and from the supervisor, and the supervisor will perform genuine performance evaluations and exit interviews.
