More financial aid is available than ever before for Peninsula College students, including a guaranteed $1,000 PC Foundation award for newly enrolled students in healthcare programs this fall, including Medical Assisting, Medical Office Assisting and Phlebotomy. Both first and second year nursing students will also receive $1,000 from the Foundation.
Every Nursing Assistant Certified (NAC) student attending in fall 2021 will have the full cost of the six-week program paid by the Peninsula College Foundation. This NAC grant is for fall enrollment only. Each student will receive $1,200, which covers the cost of the program and approximately $100 for incidentals.
In order to be eligible to receive up to $1,000 towards tuition in a healthcare program, students must meet all eligibility criteria and program prerequisites, apply and be admitted to the program, and enroll in courses fall quarter 2021.
In addition to healthcare areas of study, the $1,000 award applies to all new students enrolling in professional technical programs this fall.
