Parent Participation

Parents participating

The Preschool program is part of the Family Life Education Program at Peninsula College. All parents/guardians are concurrently enrolled in a one credit Parent Ed/Family Support class. There is a $14.00 fee per quarter for this class. Parents are always welcome to visit the center. Hours for helping with classroom activities can be arranged through the Parent Ed class. Parent Meetings are held each quarter to discuss topics of interest related to your child’s development.

Ways Parents Can Be Involved:

  • Parent Meetings
  • Classroom Participation
  • Early Childhood Development Center (ECDC) Events and Activities
  • Parent Teacher Conferences
  • Parent Advisory Council
  • Parent Helpers

Parent Comments:

“As a Peninsula College Employee, I loved the idea of my child attending preschool at the Early Childhood Development Center (ECDC). My daughter loved the school and it was hard to get her to leave at times. I love the staff as well, they are so welcoming.”

“What a great center, my son loves it!”

Parent Education and family support services are vital parts of our program. For more information and links to Parent Education Programs visit the Family Life Education web site.
