GED® Prep Classes
If you are interested in taking the GED® test but need help studying and preparing for it, we can help prepare you to take the test. Passing the test earns you a GED® certificate that is equivalent to a high school education and is usually accepted in place of a diploma.

Program Information:
The High School Equivalency (HSE) classes will help prepare you to take all or some of the four parts of the GED® Test: Reasoning through Language Arts, Social Studies, Science, and Mathematical Reasoning. Preparation includes participation in general classroom instruction, small group work, individualized instruction, computer-assisted instruction, and/or self-paced independent work.
Eligibility:
Adults who are 16 years of age or older and who do not have a high school diploma may prepare to take the GED® Test at any Peninsula College location.
Students who are 16-19 years of age must have a formal release from their required high school education and in some cases, parental consent in order to take the GED® test.

GED Testing Information:
