Summary of Duties
- Assist with clerical duties, surveys, data collection, proofing documents, note taking, forms, flyers, and spreadsheets
- Assist professional-technical faculty and staff with recruiting events both on and off campus
- Assist professional-technical faculty and staff with marketing and social media requests, proofing, and follow up
- Assist with development and distribution of quarterly professional-technical newsletter
- Assist with tracking and document equipment and materials purchases for programs
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications / Required Skills:
- Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, file management)
- Organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills - written and oral
- Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences
- The characteristics of a team player, timeliness in task performance, initiative, and a desire to learn
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with graphics or desktop publishing software
Approximate Hours Per Week:
up to 19 hours, flexible
Days and Hours Needed:
Flexible between 9am - 5pm, Monday - Thursday; able to work around student's academic schedule

8. Technology: Student worker will develop proficiency in common technology tools, including phone, email, online searches, Zoom or other online meeting platforms, Microsoft Office applications, and specific technology used in the student worker's job duties.
9. Upward Management Skills: Student worker will demonstrate competency on how to communicate needs, concerns, and requests to immediate supervisor and other managers.
10. Workplace Simulation Mastery: Student worker will learn how to receive and learn from feedback, importance of regular input to and from the supervisor, and the supervisor will perform genuine performance evaluations and exit interviews.
