Strong at the Broken Places

Bill Maier, son of E. John Maier, founding president of Peninsula Community College, will explain the healing power of writing the memoir/novel of his time in the American/Vietnam War. He is grateful to the local tribes for their veteran honoring ceremonies and the “The Wall That Heals” for bringing together world-renowned Vietnam veteran artists, who spoke, painted, and performed illuminating works about the effects of war on young souls.

Marine Resources Committee

The final Studium for 2024's Fall Quarter will offer an opportunity for us all to learn from a panel who will share the work of The Clallam Marine Resources Committee.

The Marine Resources Committee is an advisory committee to the Board of Clallam County Commissioners. They are a group of dedicated volunteers working in Clallam County on marine issues and engaging in local marine monitoring and stewardship projects. During this Studium, committee members will spotlight some of their past and current projects.
