Students applying to Peninsula College’s Nursing and/or Dental Hygiene programs must take the Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) as part of the application process.
Peninsula College charges a $40.00 proctoring fee and Assessment Technologies Institute (ATI) charges a $75.00 fee, both of which are paid electronically at the time of testing. Online testers will pay an additional $5 fee.
Testing Information
- TEAS testing through Peninsula College is available by appointment only. To schedule your exam, please complete the online request form.
- Or, applicants may take the TEAS exam directly through ATI.
- For in-person testing at Peninsula College, please bring your ATI login and password, photo ID, and a credit/debit card to pay the $75.00 ATI fee during your check-in process.
- Handheld calculators are not allowed.
Additional Information
- There is an additional fee to ATI if you request to send your test scores to another college.
- Students taking the TEAS exam may only test twice in one application cycle, and must wait 14 days to re-test after their first exam.
- Nursing and Dental Hygiene applicants will provide a copy of their TEAS Individual score report (found in their ATI account) as part of their program application.
- Testers who have an approved accommodation through Access Services may request to have their TEAS test time extended by 1.5x or 2x.
