The Peninsula College Board of Trustees provides leadership and oversight to ensure the college fulfills its mission and serves the community effectively. Our trustees bring diverse expertise and a shared commitment to student success and institutional excellence.
Peninsula College is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU). Accreditation to award the associate and baccalaureate degree was last affirmed in 2025.
Peninsula College at Forks is located in the heart of the Olympic Peninsula in central Forks, Washington.
Peninsula College is a public, comprehensive community college. It was founded in 1961 and is one of 34 community and technical colleges in the state of Washington. The College service district encompasses both Clallam and Jefferson Counties on the Olympic Peninsula.

Welcome to Upward Bound at Peninsula College
It is the student’s responsibility to officially drop or withdraw from classes if they are unable to pay tuition and fees. Students must pay their tuition on or before the tuition deadline date each quarter, or they may be dropped from classes.
When students receive financial aid from Peninsula College, they agree to fulfill the responsibilities associated with those awards. These terms and conditions are established by federal and state regulations for financial aid.
Federal Direct Student Loans are low interest loans to help students pay for the cost of their education. The lender is the U.S. Department of Education rather than a bank or other financial institution. Direct Loans are a form of financial aid that must be repaid with interest.
American College Test (ACT)
The ACT, a college entrance examination, is offered at Sequim High School.

Students applying to Peninsula College’s Nursing and/or Dental Hygiene programs must take the Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) as part of the application process.

At Peninsula College, there are several options for students to get accurately placed into the math and English courses that they are ready for. English and math placement also provides entry into courses in most other subject areas at the college.
