Peninsula College in East Jefferson County
Peninsula College’s Fort Worden campus will close September 1, 2025, but we remain deeply committed to the education of our East Jefferson County residents. We are currently exploring ways to expand access with a new office, mobile learning labs, and flexible class options to keep education close to home.
“Although the Fort Worden campus is closing, Peninsula College is not leaving East Jefferson County. We remain deeply committed to the students, families, and employers who rely on us for education and workforce training.” – President Suzy Ames
