Please note due to the COVID-10 health crisis, all Basic Education for Adults will be online for the Spring quarter. We will still be accepting students until June 5th, 2020.
Please fill out the following form, choose a location, and an instructor will contact you.
If you are interested in taking the GED® test but need help studying and preparing for it, we can help prepare you to take the test. Passing the test earns you a GED® certificate that is equivalent to a high school education and is usually accepted in place of a diploma.
The High School Equivalency (HSE) classes will help prepare you to take all or some of the four parts of the GED® Test: Reasoning through Language Arts, Social Studies, Science, and Mathematical Reasoning. Preparation includes participation in general classroom instruction, small group work, individualized instruction, computer-assisted instruction, and/or self-paced independent work.
- Adults who are 16 years of age or older and who do not have a high school diploma may prepare to take the GED® Test at any Peninsula College location.
- Students who are 16-19 years of age must have a formal release from their required high school education and in some cases, parental consent inorder to take the GED® test.
You must register in person at the location you wish to attend.
