Peninsula College is rallying together to support our students during this challenging time. We’re calling on our campus community to come together—Pirates Helping Pirates—for a college-wide Emergency Food Drive, happening now through Wednesday, November 26, 2025.
Our Goal: 1,837 food items—one for every enrolled Pirate this fall! Each dollar donated counts as one item, and the Associated Student Council (ASC) will match every dollar up to $1,000. Together, we can make sure no Pirate goes hungry!
Donate to the Pirate Pantry Today!
The Associated Student Council's Pirate Pantry is open to all Peninsula College students who need a little extra help with food.
The Pirate Pantry will be open when the PUB is open, typically Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–7:00 pm. Students may drop in and pick up what they need. Reusable bags are available in the pantry. The pantry is located in the southwest corner of the Pirate Union Building.
The Associated Student Council, in coordination with the Port Angeles Food Bank, will stock the pantry with a variety of basic “dry” food products. Students who want milk, eggs, meat, cheese, fruit and vegetables will be encouraged to visit the Port Angeles Food Bank—located at 632 N. Oakridge Drive (just west of Walmart)—is open Wednesday–Friday, 11:00 am–6:00 pm, and Saturdays, 11:00 am–2:00 pm.
Grab & Go
In addition to the Pirate Food Pantry, the Associated Student Council provides free grab-and-go snack food items to students from the counter of the ASC office. Office hours are typically Tuesday–Friday from, 8:00 am–12:30 pm. The purpose of that service is to help students who have food insecurity get through their school day. Grab-and-go items are generously donated by Peninsula College employees.
