
Are you a Peninsula College student who needs help with housing, healthcare, utility assistance, recovery, finding a job or other non-academic problems?
Wraparound services are community agencies who collaborate with Peninsula College to help connect students with resources. Students can meet with agency representatives from local organizations in person at the Community Resource Office, in WorkForce Programs (Building P) on the Port Angeles campus.

- Clallam County Health & Human Services is dedicated to promoting and protecting the health, safety, and quality of life for all people in Clallam County.
- Clallam Transit provides free public transportation services and para-transit (known as Clallam Connect) in Clallam County. They have expanded lines that go to Hurricane Ridge, and the Bainbridge Island Ferry Terminal for free if you show your student ID.
- College Success Foundation coaches and supports students from low socioeconomic backgrounds to prepare for and graduate from college as transformational leaders in order to forge a just and equitable society.
- DSHS Division of Vocational Rehabilitation provides individualized vocational counseling, employment services and supports to people with disabilities who want to work but face substantial barriers in finding meaningful and sustained employment.
- DSHS Port Angeles Community Services Office is where people can apply, interview, and review their applications for food, cash, Working Connections Childcare services, WorkFirst social services case management and navigation.
- First Step Family Support offers maternity support, parenting education classes, home-visiting programs, and center-based activities so that families have the advantage in raising healthy and happy children in Clallam and Jefferson counties.
- Ginger's Closet & Disaster Relief serves the Forks community through thrift store vouchers for low-income residents and those recovering from crisis, emergency assistance, warming packs, educational opportunities, and reducing textile waste.
- Healthy Families of Clallam County provides free and confidential services to individuals and families affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse and general crimes.
- North Olympic Healthcare Network provides patient-centered, quality-driven, whole-person healthcare services, accessible to everyone in our community. Their patient navigator can help people sign up for insurance and register as a new patient. Their Mobile Health Clinic provides behavioral health services and telemedicine appointments.
- League of Women Voters of Clallam County encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education, and advocacy.
- OlyCAP helps people build resilient communities by providing equitable access to solutions and opportunities in Clallam and Jefferson counties.
- Olympic Peninsula YMCA has the programs, activities and experts to guide you toward a healthier, happier lifestyle.
- Sequim Food Bank provides food and assistance to people and organizations so that no one goes hungry in our community.
- The Market at the Port Angeles Food Bank and their Mobile Market nourishes our community and cultivates a hunger free community though service, education, and partnerships.
- Peninsula Behavioral Health is a nonprofit behavioral health agency dedicated to providing comprehensive mental health and substance use treatment services.
- Serenity House is the leading housing organization in Clallam County, working to resolve homelessness and housing insecurity for low-income families, seniors, individuals, and people with disabilities.
- Salish Youth Network Collaborative (SYNC) provides behavioral health and youth systems navigation and can assist with coordination of services for youth and their families with complex behavioral health needs in Clallam, Jefferson, and Kitsap Counties.
- The REAL Team (Recovery, Empowerment, Advocacy, and Linkage) improves the lives of people they serve through recovery, empowerment, advocacy, and linkage; while promoting dignity, health, and self-sufficiency.
- UnitedHealthcare Community Plan has Medicaid, dual special needs plans, and ACA marketplace health insurance plans.
- WorkSource is a statewide partnership of state, local and nonprofit agencies that provides and array of employment and training services to job seekers and employers in Washington.

Olympic Peninsula Resource Connections & Opportunities Team
- What is the OPR Co-Op Team?

The Olympic Peninsula Resource Co-Op (Connections and Opportunities) team is comprised of collaborative resource Co-Ops that bring community-based organizations (CBOs) together weekly to simplify people’s ability to access wraparound services and enter college. These weekly Co-Ops offer potential students access to support for housing, childcare, transportation, financial aid, college enrollment and advising in a one-stop shop. These resource Co-Ops are intended to serve as onramps to training in high-demand fields and simultaneously remove barriers to help people achieve their educational goals.
Olympic Peninsula Resource Co-Ops in the greater Port Angeles, Forks, and Port Townsend areas will provide the following:
- Advising and overall student support (Peninsula College’s Academic Advisors and Program Specialists in-kind)
- Housing Resources (Serenity House)
- Financial Aid Support (United Way of Clallam County; Peninsula College Outreach Specialists – in-kind)
- Childcare resource navigation, food, transportation, and healthcare support by this network of CBOs (YMCA and DSHS – in-kind, Peninsula College’s Benefit Navigator in-kind)
- Assisting with navigation of foster youth aging out (Olympic Angels)
