The purpose of a Professional Technical Internship is to give students an opportunity to apply knowledge and skills gained in the classroom to a workplace setting.
Students may withdraw from most classes through the eighth week of the quarter (fall, winter, spring quarters).

If applying for online classes only and not looking for a U.S. visa, you don't need to complete Steps 3 and 4.
We prepare international students for academic success in the college environment. We believe that students learn best in a comfortable classroom environment where they actively participate in class.
In Washington State, students can skip up to two years of high school, take required college classes, and receive a high school diploma and transferable college credits or a two-year college Associate Degree.
Peninsula College requires international students purchase health insurance as required by law and because of the high cost of health care in the U.S. and also for safety reasons.

Residency Requirements
Washington Residency Status
Errors in grading occur periodically. Peninsula College encourages resolution of grading issues to occur between the student and instructor. Should a student believe their final course grade was made in error, the following steps should be used to resolve the issue.
