- Citizenship Documents Required
You reported on your FAFSA you are either a U.S. Citizen or an Eligible Non-Citizen, but this was not confirmed by the Department of Homeland Security or the Social Security Administration (or both).
Check your FAFSA data for accuracy and make any necessary corrections at www.StudentAid.gov.
You must also submit proof of your U.S. Citizen or Eligible Non-Citizen status to the Financial Aid Office. For proof of U.S. citizenship or Eligible Non-Citizen status, we can accept a certified copy of a U.S. birth certificate, a Certificate of Naturalization, an Alien Registration Card or a U.S. passport.
You must bring us the ORIGINAL DOCUMENT(S), as the law requires that a Financial Aid staff member views the original document(s). We will photocopy your documents while you wait. We are sorry, but we cannot accept Government-issued Military I.D. to resolve this issue.
