- Transfer Degree In Natural Sciences
The best way to prepare to transfer to major in natural sciences is to know the requirements of the university you wish to attend. Contact the undergraduate advisor in the university’s department (or school) that offers the degree you want to pursue. Get specific advice on courses to take at Peninsula College that will provide the most effective pathway for transfer. Typically, either the Associate of Arts or the Associate of Science will facilitate your preparation for a natural science major.

Western Washington University’s Huxley College of the Environment on the Peninsulas addresses today's environmental issues and prepares tomorrow's interdisciplinary problem solvers. Prerequisites completed at Peninsula College provide the future Huxley student with a foundation in various complex topics such as politics, economics, and geography that will be referred to continually throughout Huxley courses. Whether in environmental policy or science, students need an understanding of math, biology, and science to understand the environment and its processes. Finally, it is essential in the environmental world to be able to critically think and communicate by developing proficient writing skills. Peninsula College courses prepare students to be successful in their Huxley studies and then continuing in the professional world.
