- Peer Mentors
Peer Mentors are here to support students as they become familiar with Peninsula College and experience life as a college student. We are the place to go if you have questions or challenges.
“You can ask us about anything. We can help!”
What we do:
- Provide new students with the support of current seasoned student peers as they transition into Peninsula College and encounter the college environment for the first time.
- Send out weekly email and text reminders of important academic dates and engaging student activities.
- Present timely Zoom and in person presentations on a variety of topics important to student success.
- Ensure that there is always someone to contact for information and assistance.
- Hold Student Hours in the Pirate Union Building and in our Zoom room each week for student support.
We look forward to meeting you!

Sarah Hello! Welcome to PC! My name is Sarah, and I am a Peer Mentor. I am currently pursuing my bachelor’s degree at PC in behavioral healthcare. I earned my associate degree from PC in 2017. I have been a Peer Mentor since fall of 2022 and look forward to continuing to serve students this year. My favorite part of being a Peer Mentor is being able to meet with students and collaborate and find solutions to the problems we face. |
