- Peer Mentors
Peer Mentors are here to support students as they become familiar with Peninsula College and experience life as a college student. We are the place to go if you have questions or challenges.
“You can ask us about anything. We can help!” What we do:
- Provide new students with the support of current seasoned student peers as they transition into Peninsula College and encounter the college environment for the first time.
- Send out weekly email and text reminders of important academic dates and engaging student activities.
- Present timely Zoom and in person presentations on a variety of topics important to student success.
- Ensure that there is always someone to contact for information and assistance.
- Hold Student Hours in the Pirate Union Building and in our Zoom room each week for student support.
Meet our Peer Mentors:
Robert Hello. My name is Robert and I am a Peer Mentor at PC. I graduated from PC with an associate in IT systems administration and I am currently working on my bachelor’s degree in IT Management. This will be my second year as a peer mentor at PC. I enjoy helping students and finding them the information they need. If you need anything, stop by for office hours or send an email. |

Sarah Hello! Welcome to PC! My name is Sarah, and I am a Peer Mentor. I am currently pursuing my bachelor’s degree at PC in behavioral healthcare. I earned my associate degree from PC in 2017. I have been a Peer Mentor since fall of 2022 and look forward to continuing to serve students this year. My favorite part of being a Peer Mentor is being able to meet with students and collaborate and find solutions to the problems we face. |
