The Pacific Forest Foundation (PFF) scholarship program is offered to students who are studying in forestry related areas. To be eligible, students must reside in any of the western states (CA, WA, OR, ID, AL, AZ, NV, UT, WY, MT and CO), British Columbia or new Zealand.
PFF will accept applications starting on January of each year, and the application deadline is May 1st of that same year. The PFF plans to awards 5 to 10 scholarships annually; scholarships range from $1,000 to $3,000 each.
Application Eligibility:
- Applicants must be studying in one of the following areas:
•Forest Engineering
•Forest Management
•Forest Operations Management
•Heavy Equipment Maintenance and Welding
•Resource Management
•Diesel Mechanics
•Other forest / timber industry related areas of study

How to Apply:
- Complete the application found here.
- Obtain two (2) letters of reference or recommendation to include in your application, preferably from people who are in an industry-related company.
- Write a short essay (no more than 800 words) or atach a video covering a topic from the list on the application.
- Mail it all application-related documents to:

Applications are reviewed by the PFF scholarship committee with the final selection of recipients made at the PFF Summer Board Meeting (in July). Recipients will be notified by mail after that date.
