Comments are invited at a Public Hearing, on Friday, November 7, 2025 in J-47, Pirate Union Building (PUB) conference room at Peninsula College or Zoom on the revision of WAC 132A-127 Code of Students Rights and Responsibilities. These changes are being made to be in compliance with the 2020 Title IX rules. On January 9, 2025, a U.S. District Court vacated the final Rule made on April 24, 2024. This notice is regarding Peninsula College adopting the 2020 Title IX rules and updating definitions in the Student Rights and Responsibilities to be in compliance with the 2020 Title IX rules.

An overview of the proposed revision will be provided by the Hearing Officer prior to taking comments. Written comments will be accepted until 5:00 pm on Thursday, November 6, 2025. Following the hearing, the Hearing Officer will prepare a memorandum summarizing the testimony. The President’s Cabinet will review the comments and written submissions.
