Survey of Workforce Needs for Peninsula College Mobile Training Program
Clallam and Jefferson Counties, along with partners in the North Olympic Peninsula Recompete Coalition (NOPRC), were recently awarded a $35M grant from the Economic Development Administration to create new jobs, implement workforce development strategies, and provide wraparound support to increase prime age workforce participation (age 25-54). Peninsula College will launch two mobile classrooms in 2026 and wants to hear from you regarding your workforce needs. The goal of the PC Mobile Training Program is to bring skilled trades such as welding, marine technology, and construction to remote communities and work sites.
Peninsula College will deploy mobile classrooms based on regional employer need for workforce development in the skilled trades with a goal to serve remote communities on the West End of Clallam County (Hoh Valley, Quileute Valley, Forks, Neah Bay, Clallam Bay) and East End of Jefferson County (Chimacum, Brinnon, Quilcene). Peninsula College can deliver mobile training on employer campuses or other sites based on need and availability of space.
If you have workforce needs or are planning on hiring in the next year, please complete this brief survey and someone from Peninsula College will contact you to learn more.
The survey will remain open until August 15, 2025.
