The date of birth you reported on your FAFSA does not match the date of birth in the Social Security Administration's (SSA) records.
If the date of birth you reported is incorrect, you must update it on your FAFSA at www.studentaid.gov.
If the date of birth you reported is correct on your FAFSA, you must contact the SSA at 1-800-772-1213 to update their record. In addition, you must submit proof of your date of birth to the Financial Aid Office. We can accept either a copy of your birth certificate or a copy of the page in your passport that shows your date of birth.
