Studium Generalé is grateful to collaborate with the Clallam Resilience Project as we welcome Carmen Watson-Charles, a Lower Elwha Klallam Tribal member, the Lower Elwha Klallam Culture Manager, & Port Angeles School District Native American Liaison.
We are honored to welcome her as the Keynote Speaker for Resilience Month. For over 20 years Carmen has been advocating for her tribal community by sharing her Klallam culture and history in hopes of creating solidarity. She will share about her life experiences and how she perseveres with resilience and empathy.
You are invited to join Carmen Watson-Charles on October 23 to learn how creating common ground through collaborations and partnerships has helped shape where we are in this time and space we call present.
The Resilience Project provides education about why resilience matters in daily interactions as individuals, within organizations, and on a community level. Over the course of the month, Clallam Resilience will showcase events across the community.
Please join us for each Thursday at 12:35 pm in the Little Theater on the Port Angeles campus of Peninsula College, or access the livestream on Zoom (Meeting ID: 881 8437 0617). Studium Generale is made possible through generous contributions to the Peninsula College Foundation. For more information, please contact Kate Reavey at kreavey@pencol.edu or (360) 417-6268.
