When students receive financial aid from Peninsula College, they agree to fulfill the responsibilities associated with those awards. These terms and conditions are established by federal and state regulations for financial aid.

By accepting Federal financial aid, including Federal Pell Grant, Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG), Federal Direct Loans, Federal Work Study, the student agrees to the following conditions:
- The information provided in the student's application and their other financial aid documents is true and correct to the best of their knowledge.
- Has reviewed, understand, and agree to the conditions, responsibilities, and obligations as stated on the Peninsula College Financial Aid website in order to receive financial aid for the academic year.
- If the student does not attend all or some of their classes in accordance with the Conditions of Award policies, the student may owe a repayment of aid for all or part of the funds they received, as determined by the Office of Financial Aid.
- Falsifying financial aid application information is a Federal crime, and if the student knowingly provide false or misleading information on their application or any related documents, they can be fined, prosecuted, or sent to prison.
- If the Office of Financial Aid determines the student owes a repayment of aid to the college, they may be blocked from registering for classes and/or receiving other services from the college.
- Unpaid debts to the college may incur additional penalties or fees and/or may be sent to an outside agency for collection.
- Peninsula College may be legally allowed to communicate with third-party or outside State or Federal agencies about the student for the sole purpose of awarding, disbursing, and otherwise administering their financial aid.
- Washington State Financial Aid Conditions of Award

By accepting State financial aid, including WA College Grant (WCG), College Bound Scholarship (CBS), Passport to College Scholarship (PTC), State Work Study, the student agrees to the following conditions:
- Must meet the requirements for Washington State residency.
- Do not owe a repayment to any State grant or scholarship nor is the student in default on a State student loan.
- Must be enrolled in an eligible program and not be pursuing a degree in theology.
- If the student holds a bachelor’s degree or the foreign equivalent, they are not eligible to receive State grant funds.
- If the student does not attend or if they withdraw from their classes, they may owe a repayment of all or part of any State funds they have received.
- Must maintain the academic progress standards established by Peninsula College in order to receive additional State aid.
- There could be other circumstances that would require a repayment or reduction in the student's current award amounts.
- Must meet all eligibility requirements for the State aid program(s) awarded.
- The offer of this financial assistance is subject to, and conditioned upon, the availability of funds. Washington Student Achievement Council (WSAC) and Peninsula College reserve the right to withdraw, reduce, or modify the awards due to funding limitations or due to changes in circumstances which affect the student's eligibility for the programs.
- If the student fails to cash any refund checks they are eligible for (which contain State funds) by the close of the academic year, the funds shall be returned to the program at WSAC and treated as funds declined by the student.
