- International Student Application Requirements
All International Students Must Submit:
If applying for online classes only and not looking for a U.S. visa, you don't need to complete Steps 3 and 4.
- Complete the International Student Application Form. Please include referring agency, if any.
- Official copies of all scholastic records and transcripts translated into English.
- Proof of Finance: This would be a statement from a bank, government, or sponsor and a notarized Affidavit of Support from the sponsor confirming the availability of sufficient funds for at least one year of study at Peninsula College. Please see the minimum amount below. Each student must demonstrate they have immediately available funds to cover at least this amount of expenses for one year of study at our college (three terms).
- Copy of passport (must be valid for at least six months beyond program start date).
- Proof of English proficiency, like TOEFL or IELTS, or Duolingo among others. If none is provided, students are admitted at the Language Training level. If you are coming from an English-speaking country, you only need to show that you've completed high school, so please submit your high school transcripts or above, if you've completed college-level work and we can see if there are any classes you can transfer. To transfer credits, we must have an 'official' transcript, no electronic copies please. For academic placement, electronic is acceptable.
After all your documents have been received, you will get an email with a link to log into your student account along with a copy of your student ID number. There, you can pay your application fee and update any information.
- Activate your ctcLink account. Select “Activate Your Account” and create a password.
- $45 non-refundable application fee paid in your Student Account.
IMPORTANT: Incomplete non-agency based student applications will not be accepted. Some countries have specific requirements. These will be provided at the time of application.
NOTE: Peninsula College requires all enrolled international students to have health insurance.
Application Deadline: Peninsula College does not adhere to a strict application deadline; however, we strongly urge applicants to submit complete application documents at least a month in advance of scheduled arrival day in order to allow for application processing, visa interview, and travel arrangements.
