The Peninsula College Foundation is offering dozens scholarships to students who intend on attending Peninsula College during the 2021-2022 academic year, with several specifically for students who are in or planning on being in the Nursing Program!
The 2021-2022 PCF Scholarship Applications process opened Monday, January 25, 2021, with general applications closing on Sunday, May 9, 2021, and a majority of the nursing scholarships closing Sunday, July 18, 2021 (be sure to check the deadline for each scholarship). Applications are only being accepted online through www.theWashBoard.org. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
Award Notifications for general scholarships will be provided to students beginning Tuesday, June 1, 2021 for scholarships with the May 9 deadline. Notifications for scholarships closing in July will begin Monday, July 26, 2021.
How to find and apply for PCF Nursing Scholarships:
1. Go to www.theWashBoard.org to create a free "Scholarship Seeker" account and start or update your personal profile. Please Note: You must use a Firefox or Chrome web browser to effectively navigate the Washboard site.
2. Enter "Peninsula College" in the search scholarships box in the upper right-hand corner and look for the Nursing scholarships listed below.
3. Review the scholarship application criteria, deadlines, and apply!

Carrie Covert Memorial Nursing Scholarship - One $1,500 award (deadline July 18, 2021)
Frances Jo Leary Nursing Scholarship – Two $3,500 awards (deadline July 18, 2021)
Helen Farrington Nursing Scholarship - One $1,000 award (deadline July 18, 2021)
Honor of God Scholarship - One $2,000 award (deadline July 18, 2021)
Marjorie J. Holstege Nursing Scholarship - One $1,000 award (deadline July 18, 2021)
Nurse to Nurse Scholarship – One $2,500 award (deadline July 18, 2021)
P. Jack and Evelyn McCarter Nursing Scholarship - One $1,000 award (deadline July 18, 2021)
Soroptimist International of Port Angeles Nursing Scholarship - One $1,500 award (deadline July 18, 2021)
Yolanda B. Darcera Memorial Scholarship – One $1,500 award (deadline July 19, 2020)
