Professional-Technical Advisory Committee Policy and Procedures

POLICY
Professional-technical education programs shall comply with RCW 28B.50.252 by establishing a local advisory committee to provide advice on current job needs and on the courses necessary to meet these needs in Clallam and Jefferson Counties.

PROCEDURES
Each professional-technical advisory committee shall:
(a) Participate in the determination of program goals
(b) Review and evaluate program curricula, equipment, and effectiveness
(c) Include representatives of business and labor who reflect the local industry, and the community
(d) Actively consult with other representatives of business, industry, labor, and agriculture.
(e) Each committee will develop an annual work plan
(f) Committee recommendations will inform Annual Academic Unit Program Review (AUPR)
(g) Meet a minimum of two times per year
(h) Minutes for meetings will be kept on file for the previous three years
