- Aggregate Loan Limits Have Been Reached
The National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) reports you have been awarded loans close to or in excess of the allowed aggregate loan limits for an undergraduate student. The aggregate loan limit of combined subsidized and unsubsidized Stafford loans is $57,500. In order to remain in compliance with federal regulations, we may have reduced or canceled your future loan disbursements to bring your total awards down to the aggregate limit.
Should you make payments on your loans to the point that they are once again under the limits, you may be able to receive additional loan funds. (You should contact your lender to make payment arrangements.) Please contact our office if this occurs and you would like to be reconsidered for additional loan funds.
