- Is there an application deadline?

The BAS in Behavioral Healthcare (BAS-BH) program starts in fall quarter; applications for this program should be completed by May 1. Applications submitted as late as mid-July may still be reviewed in time for fall quarter, but review is not guaranteed.
- What are the prerequisites?

- Completion of a two-year degree or 90 transferrable credits with a minimum cumulative GPA of a 2.0 or higher
- 5 credits of ENGL& 101 with a GPA of 2.0 or higher
- Applying to Peninsula College as a BAS student (required for current PC students as well)
- 50 credits of Distribution are required in all BAS degrees, a minimum of 5 credits in each category.
- 5 credits of PSYC& 100 with a GPA of 2.0 or higher
- 5 credits of SOC& 101 with a GPA of 2.0 or higher
- Eligible to take MATH& 146--Introduction to Statistics

- When will I find out if I’m accepted?

You will receive an email confirmation when your application is complete. We begin reviewing applications after the May 1 deadline and students will be communicated within 4-6 weeks. Applications received after May 1 will be reviewed in June.
- How do I know if my application is complete?

You will receive an email confirmation from BAS Admissions when your application is complete.

BAS in Behavioral Healthcare program accepts students for Fall quarter each year. The deadline is May 1 for Fall.
- Will this degree prepare me for a master’s program?

The BAS in Behavioral Healthcare program prepares students to pursue graduate programs in a variety of fields, including addiction studies, social work or public administration programs.
- Can I attend online?

Students can complete all coursework for the BAS in Behavioral Healthcare degree remotely. Classes are offered online, except for the internship or practicum which typically requires in-person activities.
