Peninsula College’s Magic of Cinema is honored to collaborate again with Clallam Mosaic and host the fourth All-IN Film Festival, a free, inclusive film event featuring movies by and about individuals with diverse abilities.
This year’s ten-selected films showcase the courage and resilience of neurodiverse individuals. Nine of this year’s films come from Sproutflix, a distributor that houses the largest and most diverse collection of films featuring people in the intellectual and developmental disabilities community. The films include:
• “100% Myself,” the story of Georgia, a young woman on the autism spectrum, who finds that climbing helps her confront her issues and realize that, for her, “normal” just isn’t.
• “I Go Down,” a music video about the ability of a musician not the disability of a man with autism.
• “Track by Track” follows the story of Kendall Collins, an 18-year-old sketch artist with autism who is on the brink of adulthood.
• “Distinctively” is a short documentary about twins Ella, who has Down syndrome, and Eavan who does not.
• “Meet the Rap Group” introduces viewers to Zulu P, a group of four rappers in the neurodiverse community.
• “The House” tells the story of a group of women as they explore their own lives and memories through drawings and animations.
• “Look the Part” highlights Sam, a cleaner in a theater, has a passion to be a dancer, a dream that is not realized until Peaches (Sam’s magical inner diva and drag queen) materializes one night.
• “Drumming Like Thunder” showcases musician Duncan Armstrong’s skills as he defies bullying and performs in major cities.
• “Coaching Colburn” is the story of James, born with Fragile X Syndrome and a gift for comedy and laughter.
• “Dancer” is the story of Gerelee, a Deaf teenager who decides to follow her dreams and audition for a dance company, will be showcased from Bus Stop Films in Australia.
