Experiencing Conflict as a Gift, with Ankur Shah Delight, mediator, facilitator, chaplain, ombud, podcast host, and author. His work is at the nexus of community building and conflict transformation. For Ankur, conflict is a gift, an opportunity to build community, and a passageway to the future.
Ankur graduated from Stanford University in 2001 with a degree in Mathematical and Computational Science and an honors thesis in the Humanities. From 2001 to 2014, he lived all over the world studying conflict and its aftermath in Argentina, Cuba, Mexico, Chile, Brazil, Lebanon, Egypt, Liberia, Sierra Leone, and various states in India. From 2020 to the present, he has been helping people develop the skills and cultures necessary to confront conflict wherever it arises: at home, at work, or in society at large.
Ankur is a student of Rumi, Thoreau, Gandhi, Vinoba, Martin Luther King Jr., and Ken Cloke. His website and blog are at ankurdelight.com.
