Justine Chorley, the Clallam County Emergency Management Coordinator, will present “Building Resilience on the Peninsula: Disaster Preparedness,” as Studium Generale partners with Career Services at Peninsula College.
Chorley will be focusing on how disaster preparedness contributes to building and sustaining a resilient community and how federal, state, and local emergency managers play important roles in these efforts. Chorley emphasizes how important it is to know which hazards affect your community, including earthquakes, floods, and wildfires.
Additionally, Chorley will speak to disaster preparedness for the individual, neighborhood, and community and educate us on how to get involved in community efforts.
Please join us on Thursday, November 7 at 12:35 pm in The Little Theater on the main campus of Peninsula College or access the livestream on Zoom | Meeting ID: 824 6785 5253.
