Resilience Month offers local activities that celebrate and bring about positive change in creative ways and this year, the emphasis is on how hope can be one of the strongest predictors of wellbeing
Jeff Allen has served as the principal for the Kitsap and Clallam County Detention Center Schools since 2012. Jeff is also the administrator for OESD’s federal WIOA–Youth program Pathways to Succession on the Olympic and Kitsap Peninsulas and supports the state’s Career Connected Learning initiatives in the region. He also serves as the chair for the Olympic Workforce Development Council Youth Committee and previously chair of the Kitsap Commission on Children and Youth.
Jeff is a Hope Ambassador and has been providing training and leading Hope Communities of Practice since 2019. Jeff came to Olympic ESD 114 in 1999 as the Educational Technology Director. Prior to coming to OESD, Jeff was a high school mathematics teacher and coach in Kitsap County.
