Tidepools magazine, Peninsula College’s long-running literary and art magazine, invites the public to a celebration of creativity and community at its 61st Issue Launch Party on Friday, June 6, 2054, from 5:30–7:30 pm at the ʔaʔk̓ʷustəƞáwt̓xʷ House of Learning, Peninsula College Longhouse, on the Port Angeles campus.
Founded in 1964, Tidepools has showcased the voices and visions of the Pacific Northwest for over six decades. The magazine is produced annually by students enrolled in CMST & ENGL 180/181/182 Tidepools: Exploring Literature and the Arts.
This free, all-ages event will feature a vibrant pop-up art exhibit, live readings by contributors, and an awards ceremony honoring outstanding entries in the community, college, and youth categories of this year’s art, photography, writing, and music contests. Copies of the 61st issue will be available for purchase at the event.
Celebrate the rich creative spirit of our region and support student-led publishing at this special event. All are welcome!
