View MoreJoin us to celebrate five new members of the Pirate Hall of Fame at 5 p.m. on May 31 at the Field Arts & Events Hall. Peninsula College will induct Taylor Larson, Jeremiah Johnson, Julie Stewart, Peter Stewart and the 2015 Pirate women's basketball team. It promises to be a wonderful ceremony, featuring stories from our inductees, light refreshments, and a no-host bar. There is no admission fee.

It's part of our Student Arts Festival. Join us anytime between 9-3 and have fun creating something yourself, or with friends. No pre-registration needed. The drawings will be judged at 3 p.m. and prizes awarded to the top finishers.

View MoreWinners of the 2025 English Essay Awards will read from their writing on June 5 at 1:30pm in The Little Theater. Winning essays are selected annually by faculty of the Peninsula College English department who each may nominate up to three student papers. Total prize money given out this year in the categories of narrative essay and research essay is $3000.
There are four narrative essays that (1) honor the Klallam language, (2) describe living on the streets of Seattle, (3) joke about learning to ride a motorcycle, and (4) ponder hiking in the local woods.
