- Motor Vehicle Theft – PC Port Angeles Campus
Sometime between Friday evening April 26th and Sunday afternoon April 28th, 2019, a vehicle was reported stolen from the PC Port Angeles Campus from the main parking lot, in front of the Auto/Welding Building Q. The motor vehicle theft was reported to Peninsula College Campus Safety and the Port Angeles Police Department began an investigation. The vehicle was recovered behind Safeway Port Angeles and was found stripped of engine and dash parts. Although vehicle theft is very uncommon at Peninsula College we want to remind the campus community that you can still be vulnerable to it. Precautions to help limit vehicle thefts include keeping your vehicle locked at all times, using a theft deterrent system, and not placing hideaway keys on the vehicle. Vehicle GPS tracking systems are also available on the market to help police track vehicles when stolen.
