Instruction & Classroom Support Technician- Writing Center Tutor
Join our team at the Port Angeles campus to support students in enhancing their writing skills, both in-person and via Zoom, on Thursdays from 10am to 2pm. Additional hours may become available.
As a Writing Center Tutor, you’ll conduct one-on-one sessions by appointment, assisting students with all stages of the writing process.
Applicants should have a bachelor's degree, with a master's preferred. Experience working with students strongly preferred.
Compensation ranges from $18.93 to $21.26 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
Instruction & Classroom Support Technician needed for the Peninsula College - Forks Campus.
This position will work closely with the PC Forks director and instructors to provide support for a wide range of classes and activities. Duties include classroom instructional support, trouble-shooting simple technology issues, tutoring support, and administrative support.
Requirements of the position are strong English skills and the ability to quickly learn new things that are necessary to support students. Applicants should be comfortable helping students navigate their Canvas courses, working in Zoom, and working with MS Office. High school or college math skills preferred.
