The purpose of the Faculty Assessment Committee is to promote the scholarship of teaching and learning through faculty assessment of identified SLOs utilizing data for continuous improvement and mission fulfillment.
Goals of the Faculty Assessment Committee:
- Develop and support mechanisms demonstrating closing the loop from course learning outcomes, to program learning outcomes, to institutional learning outcomes
- Evaluate assessment data to better inform program review criteria, instructional design, student placement, and student success
- Recommend actions to ensure regular, cohesive and ongoing review, and continuous improvement of SLO assessment
