Take your career outside and work as a technician in natural resources, forestry, timber management, and more.
Our new Natural Resources program will teach you about forest and restoration ecology, habitat and fisheries management, GIS mapping, and fire science. You’ll learn in forests and waterways, classrooms and labs, and through online modules and workplace internships.
Stack your classes into one or more Natural Resources Certificates. Want to earn your Associate of Applied Science Transfer degree while you're at it? Just keep stacking!
Natural Resources classes are offered in person at the Forks campus. If Forks is too far, you can take classes at our Port Angeles or Port Townsend campuses and participate in an online teaching “HyFlex” format.
Are you unemployed? Need to train for a new career? Recently divorced? A veteran? You may be eligible for Worker Retraining funding, which covers tuition, fees, and books. Worker Retraining funding does not have to be paid back, so check to see if you qualify.
