- Student Tax Return Transcript Required
Your application was selected for a process called federal verification. As part of the Academic Year 2024-25 verification process, you are required to submit a copy of your (and your spouse's) 2022 IRS Tax Return Transcript or a signed copy of the 2022 income tax return with all related schedule forms.
Please be advised that WE CANNOT PHOTOCOPY TAX RETURN TRANSCRIPTS OR TAX RETURNS FOR YOU.
NOTE: If you are applying for the 2023-2024 school year, a 2021 Tax Return Transcript or tax return is required.
If you do not have a copy of your 2022 IRS Tax Return Transcript or tax return you may create an account on the IRS website (http://irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript)to download a copy, or call the IRS at 1-800-908-9946.
If you (and/or your spouse) did not and will not file a tax return, you must report this on the Independent Verification Worksheet where indicated.
What to do if you (or your spouse) did not file a tax return:
Please fill out the 24-25 Non-filing Verification form available on our Financial Aid Forms page here: https://pencol.edu/financial-aid-office/financial-aid-forms
Submit it to the Financial Aid Office with your (and/or your spouse's) W-2 forms from 2022 attached (if you had income earned from working.)
REMEMBER to make sure your name and Student ID is on each page of your tax transcript.
