The Early Childhood Development Center (ECDC) utilizes the Creative Curriculum as a blueprint for planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate program. We use Teaching Strategies Gold ™ to evaluate children’s progress in learning objectives throughout the school year. We are also proudly participating in Early Achievers. In 2019 we rated as a level 4 Early Achievers Facility! http://youtu.be/Hr0xkE4SuMo
Parent Participation: The program's are part of the Family Life Education Program here at Peninsula College. All parents/guardians are concurrently enrolled in a one credit Parent Ed/Family Support class. There is an $14.00 fee per quarter for this class. Parents are always welcome to visit the center. Hours for helping with classroom activities can be arranged through the Parent Ed class. Monthly meetings are held to provide time for parents and staff to discuss your child's cognitive and social-emotional growth and parenting methods and ideas.
