
The PUB Gallery of Art at Peninsula College is seeking entries for the 2025 Peninsula College Student Art Show! The show is a juried exhibition that will be in the PUB Gallery of Art from May 21–June 11, 2025. Any Peninsula College student of the 2024–25 academic year may enter up to three works of art. Cash awards are sponsored by the Peninsula College Foundation and will be given for:
• Best of Show ($150)
• Best of 2-D ($100)
• Best of 3-D ($100)
• Best of Photography & Digital Art ($100)
• 2nd place in each category ($75)
• President’s Merit Award ($100), and honorable mentions.
Awards winners will be announced on June 2 in the gallery. Award certificates and checks will be sent later to mailing addresses.
It's Free to Enter: Bring your original artwork and a signed exhibition agreement to the PUB Gallery of Art, J building, on Thursday, May 15 from 11:00 am–1:00 pm or Friday, May 16 from 9:00 am–11:00 am.
All artwork must be clearly labeled on back with:
• Artist Name
• Email Address and/or Phone Number
• Title of artwork, Medium & Year Created
All 2-D artwork must be ready to hang and framed when appropriate. Art submitted to the exhibition must be the artist’s original artwork (may be assisted by an instructor) to which the artist holds all rights. 2-D artworks may not exceed 60”H x 60”W, and 3-D artworks may not exceed 60”H x 36”W x 21”D. Artwork should not weigh more than 50lbs. Video art must be in .mp4 or .mov file format submitted on a USB drive.
All submissions will be considered for the exhibition. If your artwork is not accepted into the exhibition, you will be contacted, and the artwork must be picked up on Tuesday, May 20th from 9:00 am–1:00 pm. All artwork entered for the show must be picked up from the PUB Gallery of Art at the conclusion of the show on Thursday, June 12, or Friday, June 13, 2025. Any artwork that needs to be removed before then must have prior approval.
