GED testing is offered directly through Pearson VUE, Peninsula College no longer proctoring Pearson VUE exams.
Candidates looking to take their GED exams have the ability to test online at home through Pearson VUE, take it at another testing location, or reserve a private study room at the college library to have their test proctored online by Pearson VUE (you must schedule both your exam online and reserve a study room for this option). Here is some additional information about scheduling your GED exam with these other options:
- You can learn more about taking your Pearson VUE test from home online here.
- Search for other in-person testing locations online here.
- Take your GED exam online at Peninsula College Library:
1. Schedule your GED test online through the Pearson VUE website. Be sure to confirm study room availability when scheduling your exam.
2. Reserve a private study room for free at the PC Library to take your online GED test (proctored by Pearson VUE).
3. Testers must provide their own laptop and equipment necessary to test online with Pearson VUE. A secure wifi connection is provided by the library.
Important: Testers must schedule both their exam and a reserve a study room in order to take their exam. There will not be a proctor available at the library to help testers.
