1. Apply / Reapply
To apply click here or contact Student Services for a paper application.
We upgraded our online application tool on February 2, 2021:
- Submitted applications in the previous tool prior to February 1, 2021 will be processed.
- Any “unsubmitted” and “in progress” applications were not retained. Applicants will need to reapply in the new tool.
There is no application fee. Once your form has been processed, you will receive a response email that will include your ctcLink Student ID number.

2. Find Money
Start early! Apply for Financial Aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Washington Application for State Financial Aid (WASFA). It is important that you’re aware of the deadlines and understand that applying for aid is a process, not a single step!

3. Get Placed
Alternative Placement Options
Review our Alternative Placement Options and submit documents for review (high school, SAT/ACT scores, or Smarter Balanced Scores) to testing@pencol.edu.

Accuplacer Assessment
The Accuplacer Assessment is an untimed, computer-based, placement test that assesses your reading, writing, and math skills.

AP Credits & College Transcripts
If you have AP credits or credits from previous college(s):
You can send AP credits and official college transcripts to Peninsula College at 1502 E. Lauridsen Blvd., Port Angeles WA 98362. AP Credits and official transcripts can also be sent to transcript@pencol.edu. In order for these electronic transcripts to be considered official, they must be sent by the institution you attended.

4. New Student Orientation (online)
All degree and certificate seeking students must complete an online New Student Orientation before advising and registering for classes. New Student Orientation is located on Canvas, our online learning platform, and takes about an hour to complete.
To Complete your New Student Orientation:
- Activate your ctcLink Student Center account. Select “First Time User” and create a password.
- Log into Canvas to complete your New Student Orientation – your login/password is the same as ctcLink and your orientation will be on your dashboard!

5. Advise and Register
After placement testing and orientation, schedule an advising appointment with a Student Development advisor to discuss classes, create your educational plan, and register for classes.

Peninsula College does not allow late registration. Registration must happen before the first day of the quarter. After advising, you will register for classes in your ctcLink Student Center.

6. Pay Tuition
Make sure to pay on time. Missing the payment due date will result in you being dropped from your classes for non-payment. Pay your tuition and fees with the online payment option, in person or by mail. A payment plan option is available.
